Biography
Halle got her first big break as a crack addict in Spike Lee's "Jungle Fever." She then went on to do a bunch of other flicks (like "Boomerang" and "Bulworth" ) until she became the first African-American to win an Oscar for Best Actress, thanks to her role in "Monster's Ball." But it was really her bare-breasted scenes in "Swordfish" that bounced her into the spotlight. She's also played the weather-controlling mutant Storm in "X-Men," the Bond Girl Jinx in "Die Another Day" and the sharp-clawed anti-heroine in "Catwoman."
