Biography
Katie Holmes is the poster child for the girl next door. Of course, our parents moved before we could ever meet the girl next door. Sigh. Besides driving Dawson and Pacey nuts on a weekly basis on TV's "Dawson's Creek," she's made the leap to movies in "Teaching Mrs. Tingle," "Phonebooth," "Abandon" and "Pieces of April" to name a few. She's also grown up a bit after baring her soul (and her chest) in "The Gift."
