Okay so technically she's a country singer. But being super hot, wearing super tight dresses and playing somewhat poppy music certainly helped Shania Twain gain the rest of the music industry's attention. While her first album in 1993 wasn't a huge hit, it led to her second album "The Woman in Me" which was monstrous, breaking the record for most weeks spent at number one on the country charts.
